I’ve also added a checklist I used to use when using a 10-stop filter. Note that the focus distance quoted (2m) was the hyper-focal length for the lens I used..you’ll need to adjust for your chosen lens.

Christopher O’Donnell (CreativeRaw) has devised a method for assessing your own current processing skills in Lightroom and Photoshop with a view to better understanding those areas needing improvement. He maintains that in order to create better images you have to better understand where you are in terms of processing skills. Thus I have attached hereto his ‘Creative Darkroom Assessment Scorecard’ which some of you may find very helpful.

By way of introduction as to the process by which this will be implemented I will begin with a discussion on the recently released upgrades to the Adobe suite of products. This month Adobe released an impressive array of upgrades to Adobe Photoshop and below are are several links to highlight and discuss these enhancements.
